I'm Jeff Gusfield: I am a professional speaker and author. My speeches have been called "Information rich," "Educational," "Highly humorous," "Extremely informative," and my favorite, "a hoot." I speak from knowledge, I get excited, I make people laugh, and I try to give every presentation everything I have. I always include an additional half-hour for questions from the audience.

I've been speaking most of my life. I was an actor, reeived my degree in Theater Arts, became an art historian and international art dealer for 33 years, taught, lectured, and I haven't shut up yet. I love speaking on what I truly care about.

I appreciate the term, "area of expertise." The oral tradition, carried on by speakers like me, offer many of the same benefits as higher education taught by the finest, most knowledgeable professors or consultants. The one factor that makes this true is unabashed, unconditional, unadulterated love for one's subject.
